The other part of me is saying that other hosting companies offer this type of backup/restore feature at no extra cost. So InMotion is catching up while trying to charge extra for the feature. It also bugs me that InMotion is giving all customers a 90 day free trial that automatically converts into an extra ongoing cost.
Last, I don't generally trust hosting company's backup features. I make my own backups and store the backup files locally, here in my office. That way if Hosting Company ABC goes out of business, disappears, or is wiped out by natural disaster… I can upload the latest backup to Hosting Company XYZ and be back up in running in a matter of hours.
