I've decided to do a bunch of articles on how to use Google to build your business. And this article is applicable for any business; it doesn't matter if you have a web site or not...Google Alerts is very simple. On the right, you can see the basic form to get started. For example, I receive daily alerts for the following search terms:
- Covington Creations
- Nate Covington
- Nathan Covington
The result: Any time Google indexes a web page, blog post, or article containing these keywords, I get an email. It's a great way to keep tabs on what people are saying about you - good or bad. Or, use it to keep tabs on your competitors. Best of all, it's a free service. This is a great tool that can be integrated with our ongoing web site optimization services.
